Environmental Impact Assessment & Environmental Engineering Services.

The Ministry Of Environment and Forest has issued the Environmental Impact Assessment Notification, 2006, which requires prior Environmental Clearance from MoEF, New Delhi for Category A and at SEIAA (State Environmental Impact Assessment Authority) for Category B before the constriction work & the projects need certain Environmental Studies, Legal Documentations & approvals.

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is an important management tool for ensuring the optimal use of natural resources for sustainable development.

Environmental Management Plan is the study of the unintended consequences of a project. Its purpose is to identify, examine, assess and evaluate the likely and probable impacts of a proposed project on the environment and, thereby, to work out remedial action plans to minimize adverse impact on the environment.

ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

Environmental Impact Assessment

All new projects or activities, expansion and modernization of existing projects, any change in product – mix listed in the Schedule to the EIA Notification 2006 requires prior Environmental Clearance from MoEF/SEIAA. On basis of Terms of reference issued by the Expert Appraisal Committee an EIA study is conducted and Public Consultation is done. A Final EIA report is prepared & presented to the EAC/SEAC. Based on the recommendations of EAC/SEAC the MoEF/SEIAA grants Environmental Clearance.

Environmental Management Plan

Preparation of environmental management plan is required for formulation, implementation and monitoring of environmental protection measures during and after commissioning of projects.It indicates the details of various measures that are proposed to be taken including cost components. Cost of measures for environmental safeguards should be treated as an integral component of the project cost and environmental aspects should be taken into account at various stages of the project.

Social Impact Assessment

Socio- Economic status of the population is an indicator for the development of the region. Any developmental project will have a bearing on the living conditions and on the economic base of population in particular and the region as a whole. Similarly, the proposed activities will have its share of socio-economic influence in the study area. The study delineates the overall appraisal of society relevant attributes. The data is done through primary household survey and through the analysis of secondary data.

Risk Assessment Modelling

Comprehensive multi-pathway human health risk assessment calculates risk values for multiple chemicals, from multiple sources, at multiple exposure locations simultaneously. We follow the HHRA Protocol established by EPA. The results estimate the nature and probability of adverse health effects.

Solid Waste Management

SWM is defined as the discipline associated with control of generation, storage, collection, transport or transfer, processing and disposal of solid waste materials in a way that best addresses the range of public health, conservation, economics, aesthetic, engineering and environmental considerations.

Environmental Monitoring

Environmental Monitoring Programme covering the technical aspects (including methodology, parameters, frequency, location, etc., and detailed budget) of monitoring to check the effectiveness of mitigation measures during construction and operational phases will be prepared.

Disaster Management Plan

DMP can be documented in written form, specifies procedures an organization is to follow in the event of a disaster. It is "a comprehensive statement of consistent actions to be taken before, during and after a disaster"

Rain Water Harvesting

RWH systems provide distributed storm water runoff containment while simultaneously storing water which can be used for irrigation, flushing toilets, washing clothes, washing cars, pressure washing,or it can be purified for use as everyday drinking water.

Transport management Studies

Traffic studies are carried out to analyse the traffic characteristic. It helps in geometric design and traffic control,which tends to safe and efficient traffic movement.
